Massachusetts Business Litigation Sessions Adopt New Formal Guidelines Regarding Hearings, Trials, and Electronic Filings Requiring Immediate Attention

The Massachusetts Superior Court Business Litigation Session Judges recently adopted new Formal Guidelines regarding hearings and trials.  The guidelines address attendance by less senior attorneys, use of video to hold conferences and hearings, and the use of video conferencing for evidentiary hearings and trial. The guidelines also address electronic filings requiring immediate attention, and courtesy paper and digital copies of such electronic filings.
