Michigan Business Court Judge on Adequacy of Initial Disclosures

As part of a Michigan Institute for Continuing Legal Education program, Business Court Judge Christopher Yates recently addressed the adequacy of initial disclosures from a judge’s perspective. Among other things, Judge Yates points out that inadequacy of initial disclosures can be a basis not to allow a party to proceed with discovery.  A video clip from Judge Yates ICLE presentation, recently posted by Judge Yates on twitter, can be seen here.
