The Complex Business Litigation Court in Florida’s Ninth Circuit, located in Orlando, is set to renew operations before the end of 2019.
The Ninth Circuit’s Complex Business Litigation Court was established in January 2004, by Administrative Order of then Presiding Judge Belvin Perry, Jr. In early 2018, the Business Court ceased operations because of a need to reallocate resources to other parts of the court system. The Business Court is expected to renew its operations in Fall 2019.
There are also existing Florida business court dockets in Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, and Tampa, all created through presiding circuit judges issuing administrative orders.
