Vanderbilt Law School Puts on Business Courts Program

On March 15, 2022, Vanderbilt Law School sponsored a one hour program, Business Courts from Tennessee to Delaware. The format was a one hour dialogue with Vice Chancellor Joseph Slights III from Delaware’s Court of Chancey, and Chancellor Anne C. Martin, from the Davidson County, Tennessee Chancery Court.  Chancellor Martin’s duties include her assignment as the Business Court Docket judge.  Before being appointed as Vice-Chancellor, VC Slights was a judge in Delaware’s Superior Court, where his docket included that court’s Complex Commercial Litigation Division.  Thus, he is one of the few jurists to serve on more than one business court.
