The New York Commercial Division Advisory Council sponsored another successful lecture series on commercial litigation practice. This five-program lecture series was held during June 2026 for summer and other associates at multiple offices of major law firms throughout the United States. The goal of the series was to educate our future and current lawyers about commercial litigation practice and New York’s business court, the Commercial Division of the New York State Supreme Court. The programs included discussion of the wide variety of cases that come before the Commercial Division, and the benefits and value of clerking, interning, and litigating in the Commercial Division. The speakers at each program included a Commercial Division Justice and some of the best-known commercial litigators in the United States. More than 100 major law firms attended the lecture series and the audience reactions were positive.
A number of the firms which were invited to these programs have requested the recordings of the programs for summer associates who were unable to attend all five programs as well as for incoming associates this fall and their young litigators generally. Below are the links.
