Last Thursday’s seminar on Hot Topics in Business Law was a success—excellent speakers, important topics, and well-attended.
Congratulations to all the speakers! A special thank you to Gerard Mantese, the Chair of the State Bar of Michigan Business Law Section’s In-House Counsel Committee and co-Chair of the LLCs and Partnerships Committee, who spearheaded the planning for months and was a lead presenter, and to former BLS Chair Ian Williamson, who moderated an insightful discussion with 7 in-house counsel. The panel discussion with 9 Business Court Judges and 4 in-house counsel was also enlightening. We all toasted Judge Chris Yates on his retirement from the Michigan Court of Appeals.
