The Texas House Judiciary and Civil Jurisprudence Committee, by a 5-4 vote, approved substituted House Bill 19 for the creation of a statewide Business Court. The bill now goes on to the full House for a vote. An analysis of HB19, as modified in the committee process, can be found here.
